Great stride towards winning the league

The Vác team won the super derby playing away in the Pest megye 1st league, ensuring their place at the top of the league table by 4 points: Érdi VSE – Vác FC 1-2 (0-2)

Watched by around 500 fans, the two top teams played a more balanced match in the first 30 minutes than the usual games of Vác FC, though our team played a leading role all along. Csank’s team dominated ball possession while the home team was more effective with set pieces. Then a Vác corner kick brought the first goal of the game int he 26th minute: Rusvay made the best of the opponent goalkeeper’s mistake and headed a score. The Vác team felt more relaxed after scoring the leading goal, resulting Tamás Fábri double our points 5 minutes before the end of the first half.

 The home team started the second half in a more energetic style, and they could score after 15 minutes. The opponent continued to play a zealous game while the Vác team tried to keep their advance. We could maintain the lead resulting winning the game which is a great stride towards winning the league.

The next Vác FC match will be ont he 12 April (Saturday), 16:00 against Törökbálint int he Vác Stadium.
