Fantastic match, big step for the champion title
In the 22nd round of the Pest Megye Ist league championship Törökbálinti TC played in Vác Stadium. From the Vác team Máté Gulyás was missing because of his yellow cards, and Attila Segesdi was sent off during the U21 match the previous day. The Érd victory was not enough to make our team feel secure as our 4 points lead could melt away quickly.
But the Vác team didn’t even think about loosing a point, they started in offensive style that resulted the first score in the 13th minute. This goal made our team play even more eager but despite the beautiful chances no goal was scored. Then in the 23rd minute Tamás Fábri gave a fantastic performance taking the ball through the opponents half and scoring in the left side of the goal. The 2 goal advance ensured our team to play more relaxed.
During the break Bence Benkó who played the previous day U21 match too, was substituted by Viktor Benke. Törökbálint pulled together in the break and started the second half in a more organized fashion. They had more chances but our goalkeeper, Dávid Palásthy didn’t let them score a goal. In the second part of the half our team gained back the dominance. In the 75th minute Rusvay scored a goal from 8 meters, making sure that Vác FC wins the match. But our team didn’t sit back to relax – in the 89th minute Szabolcs Sorecz was fouled and we could kick penalty. Rusvay scored the penalty but this wasn’t the end of the match yet. The most spectacular score came in the 91st minute when Dávid Karácsony got the ball on the left site, kicked it in the middle, that Viktor Benke scored from 5 meters in the upper left corner of the goal, setting the result 5-0.
The secured 3 points gained extra value as our biggest competitor, Érd lost against Tápiószecső so we’re 7 points clear, leading the table.
